This model is mounted on a base 255 x 180 mm approx. which also carries a hand-drive pulley coupled to the smaller dynamo pulley by a rubber belt to give a step-up ratio.

The elegant design produces AC & DC current on the same device — switchable between AC/DC.

Allows students to easily compare and contrast an AC generator and a DC generator
