Getting Into Solids: Pyramids
Getting Into Solids: Pyramids
With Getting into Solids your students will have an opportunity to get into each solid to see and touch normally hidden lines. Thus gaining a clear understanding of 3-dimensional figures.
After exploring these solids students will be able to identify parts of, calculate surface areas, calculate volumes and solve a multitude of other problems involving 3-dimensional solids.
Each solid base is constructed of high-quality plastic with color-coded etchings to correspond with the edges and apothem.
Brass rods represent heights while color-coded elastic strings represent edges and slant heights.
Sticky notes are included so that selected edges, slant heights, altitudes. So on can be varied as necessary to coincide with any textbook.
Set includes one each of the following bases: square, rectangle, circle, triangle, pentagon, and hexagon six brass altitude rods, pre-cut elastic strings in two colors, six-string attachment caps, one sticky note pad, and assembly instructions.
