Green Living Innovations kit
The package includes all the necessary electronic materials for the implementation of the STEM Education program entitled Green Living Innovations kit.
The package includes the micro:bit V2 processor, a Wukong sensor expansion board with a rechargeable autonomy battery and an IoT:bit sensor expansion board with a built-in WiFi module and Real Time Clock which is used to be able to correlate measurements with a real time clock
The package includes units to create a fully automated plant care system such as the soil moisture sensor, the liquid thermometer, the water level sensor, the led lighting system for plants and the watering pump.
The package also includes environmental sensors for humidity, temperature, atmospheric pressure and brightness to create an environmental measurement station.
Measurements can be displayed on an OLED display which is also included.
With the system materials, one can send measurements through the IoT system and create graphs in the Cloud for online monitoring.
The 2 sensor interface units enable the creation of stations with an external autonomous wireless unit and an internal concentration and measurement display unit.
The servo motor of the system can be used for simple mechanical automations such as that of creating an automatic ventilation system in a small greenhouse.
The electronic units come with a complete set of interface cables and a USB power supply.
Through exciting projects, they gain valuable skills and inspiration to further explore science and technology. The means by which students achieve this is the MakeCode programming language, a beginner-friendly language widely used in the world of robotics.
