Chemical Identification of Biomolecules
Excellent package for understanding the importance of proteins, hydrocarbons and lipids in living organisms.
Students will learn to recognize the presence of proteins using the biuret reagent, examine the reaction between the Benedict reagent and a simple sugar, use lugol to detect starch, and also test for the presence of lipids with a fat-soluble dye.
The package includes enough materials for 15 teams.
Also included is a textbook guide for the teacher and worksheets for the students (in English).
