Introducing / Introducing LEGO WeDo Features
LEGO WeDo is a robotics educational platform for elementary school students.
Students create groups, learn to construct and plan by creating mechanical constructions that will use them as protagonists in real-life stories, through the needs of humans and animals.
The programming environment has a graphical programming language that makes programming more accessible to children (7+), teenagers and other beginner programmers.
In this way students will learn to program and “move” through motors by combining the data they receive from the environment (through sensors).
LEGO WeDo is also compatible with Scratch, an open source program available for free from the MIT website.
